Creative Producer for CSR & NGO Films

Echoes of Impact: Films for Social Change

Creative Producer: Films for CSR’s & NGO’s
Echoes
The social development sector in India includes NGOs, social enterprises, foundations, government bodies, and CSR initiatives that aim to improve the lives of marginalized and vulnerable communities.
Their work focuses on issues related to poverty, education, gender equality, healthcare, environment, livelihoods, and human rights. Impact films are powerful tools that highlight such social issues, amplify unheard voices, influence public opinion and policy, raise funds, drive behavior change, and support CSR reporting.
Sanjay served as a Creative Producer for Story People – a film production house based in Mumbai, led by the incredibly warm and welcoming trio brothers – Manu, Susheel and Digant Gautam. Sanjay’s role was both strategic & artistic. From reaching out to potential organizations interested in creating impact films to overseeing their creative development and final delivery, the role involved end-to-end project management. We understand that social impact films carry the voices of real people, the spirit of real communities, and the truth of lived stories. Such authenticity calls for storytelling that is not only grounded, but tender—honouring each life with dignity and respect.
With an inspiring team at Story People, we were able to bring meaningful stories to life through CSR films for organizations like Tata Steel Foundation, HDFC Bank, L&T Infotech, Tech Mahindra Foundation, Tata Motors Finance, and Magic Bus India Foundation, to name a few.
